Ok, so, I thought my brother was out of his mind when he said "I feel like good ramen and I know a place" after we went to shoot archery over at Bass Pro. He said the place was right down Griffin, but little did I know HOW Far down Griffin from 95 it was. Southwest Ranches. So, my husband and I dutifully drove all the way into Southwest Ranches to this place. And I'm glad we did. It wasn't crowded, the waiters and waitress that attended us were amazingly friendly. And my husband and I were introduced to some really good food - ramen. Broth. Egg. Meat. Octopus. Spicy Ginger. It was so amazingly good! I even tried Boba Tea for the first time! And they made it dairy-free for me! It was so yummy! Even though I complained about how far this place was, it was worth the drive. The restaurant is worth its weight in ramen! We will be dragging other brothers here another time!

Shimuja Ramen is such a hidden gem. Our server, Guiliana gave us five star service with a smile. She gave us suggestions about the menu that did not disappoint. She was attentive to our needs and was such a delight. The food was delicious and bursting with flavor. We definitely will be returning. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We discovered Shimuja after reading several Google reviews, and I have to say that Google got this one absolutely right. The restaurant is located in Regency Square, a shopping center that isn’t necessarily one of the busiest in the area. That made the surprise even better. Shimuja is a simple place, but in the best possible way. It isn’t pretentious or trying to impress with flashy decorations. Instead, the focus is clearly on what truly matters: great food and excellent service. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. My order was quite simple: the Lunch Shoyu Ramen and Pork Gyoza. Sometimes the simplest dishes reveal the most about a restaurant, and these certainly did. The shoyu ramen had a rich, well-balanced broth with the kind of comforting flavor that keeps you coming back for another spoonful. The pork gyoza were perfectly prepared, flavorful, and cooked just right. What impressed me most is that Shimuja proves you don’t need a complicated menu or an extravagant atmosphere to create a memorable dining experience. Amazing food and incredibly delicious. They also have the option to make the noodles gluten free. And they have vegetarian options as well. Our server was really nice and spoke Spanish as well.

It’s already the third time I’m here and everytime the food is amazing. Excellent vegetable broth, the egg is full with flavor. Service is lovely. Well done guys, happy to come back every time!
